The purpose of my website is to inform visitors of the many places to visit and things to do within a short driving distance from the metro Phoenix area. Did you know that the State of Arizona has one of the most diverse landscapes of any state in the United States—from desert, rocky canyons to snow-capped mountains? It also has some of the best hiking and biking trails to suit all levels of experience.
The state of Arizona has some of the most diverse animal habitats in the United States. On the eastern side of Metro Phoenix area there is a mountain range called the Superstition Mountains. It is a rugged area with steep cliffs and rocky terrain. Most of the places listed are places I go to on a regular basis. Others I have passed along the way, but have not actually hiked.
